Sick Chicken Little!!

I feel so terrible!! I feel so cold and yet Mummy keep sticking a cool patch on me and using cold ice towel to sponge me!! I dun like, I just want to stay close to her and all I want is for her to hug me the whole day.

Mummy told Ma-Ma and Daddy that said that many of my friends fell sick at the same time too!! Chole, Jasmin, Megan and a few others. Seem like someone was sick at the Gymboree and spread to ALL of us!! (And of course Mummy was scolded by Ma Ma and Gong Gong for sending me to class!!)

Dr Tan warn Mummy that I might be having Croup (http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/bacterial_viral/croup.html) and I will be getting worse! True enough I was breathless the next morning. It was so scary and I just kept crying and crying and crying. Mummy and Daddy quickly brought me back to see Dr Tan.

Dr Tan admitted me to the hospital and gave me stronger medication to bring down my fever and they put the humidifier next to my bed so that it will help to sooth the discomfort in my throat. I didnt want to eat anything and only wanted to drink Mummy's milk. Its too painful to swollow any food at all!!

By evening, I felt so much better already!!

The next 2 days were the same, I just wanted to drink milk and zzz. While I zzz, Mummy will blow the humidified oxygen at me. She was telling Daddy that its exactly the same type of oxygen that they use for her oxygen therapy during her facial!! No wonder whenever I crawl away, she will blow the oxygen at herself!!

Mummy's colleagues were very sweet, they send me a get well gift - with the 'Get Well Soon' Balloon and a very cute pooh bear.

Finally on the 3rd day morning, Dr Tan said that I could go home. We had to wait for very long until Dr Tan was free to discharge us. It was a long and boring wait!! I refuse to go back into the room so Mummy had no choice but to carry me and walk around the hospital.

Finally I can go back home now!! I miss home ...

A SECRET Date!!

Today after class, I decided to ask Megan out for tea!! I needed to have a good talk with her.

Handsome anot? Since I cant win her, then I better charm her first



We found a nice and posh restaurant which was just below Gymboree and food was nice and cheap.

Me: Nice anot here?

Megan: Nice nice, I like!!

Me: I give you a treat?

Megan: Really?

But before I could say anything ... our parents came in and destroyed the critical moment with their noise!!

Megan: Oh no, Mummy caught me on a date!!

Megan: So pai seh ...

Me: There goes my chance to tell her .... to STOP BULLYING ME!! Mummy its ALL your fault!!

Aunty Puay Ling's Wedding

Mummy and Daddy are bringing me to Aunty Puay Ling's wedding and Mummy is going to be the Mandarine Emcee for the evening. Her partner is Uncle Terence whom Mummy say is a 'Ang Mo Kang Tan'!

We arrived to the hotel very early as Mummy had to go for the rehersal and to do her make up. It was so boring that I fell asleep on Daddy's arm during the rehersal.

Mummy got Aunty Puay Ling's make up artisit to doll her up. I almost couldnt recognise Mummy, cos she look so preeeeeeettttttyyyyyyy!!

Daddy was kept very busy until after the Yum Seng, cos thats when Mummy finished all her Emcee duty and could come and take care of me. Here is the table photo.

Happy? Sad? Treasure Life!!

What a week! It was Gong Gong bday on 12 May but Lao Ma (Great Grandma) passed away on the eve of his bday!!

It was Mummy's Day on 13 May and that was the day of Lao Ma's final ritual ...

Mummy said that seem like Lao Ma chose for herself a good date and occasion to mark her departure! We were just about to leave their fav HK cafe when Ma Ma called to say that Lao Ma has passed away, Lao Ma suffered from stroke in Nov 05 so Mummy was mentally prepared.

We went home very late that night and Mummy was crying in the car. I dun really understand why but I just kept looking at her.

As I was too young to be hanging around the funeral parlour the whole day, Mummy only brought me there in the evening when there are more people who came to pay their last respect and when she needs to be around to perform the ritual.

Otherwise, Gong Gong and Ma Ma ask her to continue all our activities as planned (like the Gymboree Mummy's Day Party).

Mummy and Daddy also brought me along to send Lao Ma off on her last journey, Ma Ma neighbour told Mummy that Lao Ma had a good life, so no need to be sad. Lao Ma was already 92!! and she enjoyed herself to the day that she had stroke.

After the whole thing, Mummy said that it was a good closure as Lao Ma was no longer leading a quality life and in a way it relief off some pressure from Gong Gong.

Although I dun really understand whats the whole thing all about ... I think we should all just treasure life and enjoy every moment that we have with our loved one so that we have no regrets!!

Mummy's Day Party @ Gymboree

Its Mummy's Day Party today @ Gymboree!

We had fun by crawling around the place and playing hide and seek with the Mummies!

Then we were asked to make a present for Mummy but obviously I was too young to do it!! So Daddy had to help and gosh he was so slow and super non-creative!! Mummy even asked him if he needed a ruler heehee (See his 'willing' face)

And thats all he did after 5mins!!

Seem like I cant depend on Daddy, guess I will just do a performance for Mummy!!

Mummy and Daddy went to the nearby HK Cafe for dinner. Its one of their fav restaurant now cos the food is YUMMY and the price is reasonable.

I like their food too, esp the fried Chicken wing!! YUMMLICIOUS!!

We are going to the Zoo ... zoo ... zoo

Mummy and Daddy took leave today to bring me to the Zoo with my friends!! Nicole, Chole, Megan and Patrick are going to be at the Zoo too and Ma-Ma and Yi-Yi coming along. I am so happy!!

The Zoo is quite boring. Nothing much to see even though Mummy keep pointing out animal for me to see but I really cant be bothered! I just want to get out of this hot and smelly place!!

At noon, Mummy and her friends decided that its time to feed the babies lunch. So we all headed to KFC. I love it there - AIRCON!!

We then headed for the animal show, since I had such a nice and yummy lunch, I decided to take a nap and let the adult enjoy the show.

After the show, the sky became darker and the aunties decided to head back home, while my gan-ho parents, Ma-Ma and Yi Yi decided to explore the Zoo further (aiya cos they dun wan to waste the trip to the Zoo thats why ... cheapsake!!)

And true enough it started POURING!!!

We were stuck with the White Tiger for the longest time and all of us were so bored except for Daddy, cos he like to see White Tiger.

Luckily Mummy brought along my fav rice cracker ... Mummy is the best!!

Mummy says that she bought me off the rack from the super market!! I didnt believe her ... but seem like she is telling the truth!!
