Mummy looked worried when everyone in the clinic came over to tell her :'Your baby is very yellowish' and when Dr Tan told her that they would need to do a blood test for me, she was even more worried.
At the clinic, the nurse strapped my ankle and prick my toe! It was so painful that I screamed until I couldnt hear myself. Mummy quickly carried me and pat me. I am so angry with her, how could she let the nurse prick me!!
We waited for an hour and finally the blood test result were out!! Dr Tan said that my jaundice level was 15.8 so he wants to admit me to the hospital immediately. Mummy and Daddy discussed and agreed as they want my jaundice level to go down ASAP.
I was admitted to St Gabriel Ward and the nurse just strip me (again!!), wear an eye mask for me and put me under blue light.
Mummy and Daddy come to visit me twice a day and Mummy always hold me in her arms and say:'Drink more milk ok, then you will recover faster' , 'Be a good boy, mummy will come back to fetch you home' I think Mummy cried cos I could feel some droplets falling on my face. I miss her too!!
Also I am very sleepy so whenever Mummy give me her milk, it feels so comfortable that I always fall asleep easily. So in the end, Mummy told the nurse to feed me whatever milk that she could express or formula milk (if she is not around) as they do not want to be interuppting my time under the blue light.
So here is my virgin-bottle heehee
