Children's Day Party

Today is the long awaited Children's Day Party for the Aug/Sept thread babies (or rather BIG babies). Mummy got to know all these aunties during her preggy days from the Singaporemotherhood.com and they have kept in touch ever since then.

Mummy 'volunteered' herself to be the organiser of the party (thats her interest although Daddy say that she is being KPO heehee) and she had lotsa fun shopping for the goodies bag!

Each mummy contributed 1 food item and we had a very good spread of food ~ bee hoon, chicken curry, samosa, jelly, rasin bread, baby cookies, fruits, vegetable, fish ball, curry puff etc etc etc and not forgetting the yummy triple chocolate cake!!

We all crowded around the table for cake cutting and there were 1 candle for each of us.

Soon many of the babies started to go home. I continued to play in the yard with my new found buddy ~ Zheng Xi

We had a lot of fun running around and chasing each other. I think we would have become very good friend if not for ... ...

My Birthday (again?!?)

Today is my birthday AGAIN!! Mummy says that its my chinese birthday - ba yue chu ba (8 Aug). So today they will sing me a birthday song and I get to cut a cake again !! Mummy says that since its my chinese birthday, I should cut a 'chinese' cake, so she got me the most IN cake of the season ~ durian mooncake *faint*

They even sang me the Chinese Birthday song (Soooooo obiang)!! Gu Gu sang me the song over the phone too!!

Xuan He Bday Party

Today is Xuan He's bday party.

As Daddy was just discharged from the hospital today, Mummy and I went down for his party on our own.

Xuan He's had a nice banner and for his party and his cake was the doraemon design. Aunty Lay See says that Xuan He loves Doraemon.

I had fun walking around and re-arranging the chairs heehee but we left soon after the cake cutting as Mummy had to cook for Daddy and she was going to DRIVE me to Gymboree ~ scary man ... cant we just take a cab??

Abscess + Shopping

Daddy had his abscess http://www.emedicinehealth.com/abscess/article_em.htm removed yesterday at the hospital. As I was too young to visit him there, Mummy left me to shop around Novena Sqaure with Yee Yee.

Besides the mini soccer ball that I like from the sports shop, its a pretty boring place!! Ah Ma, Gu Gu and Shu Shu together with Mummy came to meet me after visiting Daddy. Yee Yee asked Mummy to buy me the mini soccer ball but my stingy Mummy said NO!! So I decided to go and buy it myself (with Gu Gu bag!!) heehee

Library Books!!

The Bishan Libray near my place was opened on 1 Sept and since then Aunty Angel has been telling Mummy to go and borrow Board Books for me. But being the lazy Mummy, she kept finding excuses not to go.

One day, she decided to pop by the library and she borrowed 4 books for me. I like to read them very much esp the 'Bunny' book.

Auto Balloon

For my bday party, Mummy bought Auto Balloon for all my baby pal's loot bag. Its a foil balloon which will inflat by itself when you burst the tini winni bag which is sealed in the balloon. All the aunties and baby pals like it very much!!

Mummy took out 1 for me to play and I had lotsa of fun with it (while Daddy was playing MJ outside)!!

My first lesson in MJ

I love mahjong sound as that sound has accompanied me ever since I was in Mummy's tummy. So whenever I see mahjong, I get very excited!! So Mummy decided that she will start training me from young. Here is my first lesson, 'Xi Pai' (Shuffling cards)

I am now learning how to walk! Daddy and Mummy love to play this game with me and I love to play this game with them too!!

Pregos Dinner

After the photo shoot, we went for a nice dinner at Pregos! Somehow I have a feeling that my birthday was just an excuse for Daddy and Mummy to have a nice dinner cos I am still eating porridge there!!

Mummy did give me some bread, cod fish and mash potato (at least she still remember that I am afterall the Birthday Boy!!)

Mummy made a reservation 2 day in advance, so they prepared a very nice and yummy birthday cake for me. The Uncles there sang me a birthday song but unfortunately the video was too huge to be uploaded. I was very happy and excited when they brought the cake in to me!! It was a very pretty cake =)

Photos @ Studio

Mummy wanted to take some nice studio photos on my birthday and she managed to convince Uncle Hil to do so for me!

We set off to the studio that is located at Mayo Street, as I was very tired from opening ALL the presents and I took a nap in the car. But before I could zzz enough, Mummy pulled me out from the car and brought me to the studio. So fed up!!

And of cos to show my displeasure (how dare she offend me on my birthday!!) I decided to be unco-operative!!

But I realise that being unco-operative was not getting me anywhere! Uncle Hil just kept on snapping!! I dun wan to have so many photos of me crying ar! Well guess I better start behaving myself.

Mummy then decided to take photo of me naked. Uncle Hil asked her to remove my diapers but Mummy said better not cos I will def pee pee in the studio heehee Mummy knows me best!! They let me play with the 2 balloons which Mummy bought for my party.

Presents!!

Today is MY birthday!!! Mummy and Daddy brought in ALL my presents and ang baos for me to open!! SHIOK!! See I got so so so many presents heehee (4 of them are from Mummy and Daddy actually ~ they bought those toys long ago and decided to just wrap it up for me as birthday present - CHEAPO parents!!)

So maaaaannnnnyyyyyy presents and ang bao!! WOW

My 1st Bday Party!!

Today is my 1st Bday Party!! Mummy and Daddy had been 'working' very hard to organise this Party for me ~~ Esp Mummy!! Then again - she is the official Event Organiser for the family while Daddy is the BEST supporter (note = he only support NOT sponsor) heehee

Mummy, Daddy, Jiu Jiu, Yee Yee and 'Uncle' Gabirel helped out with the decor in the morning while Ma Ma took care of me at home. The decor nice hor ...

I played in the play yard with my friends for a while before Mummy pulled me out to entertain the guest *yawn* I rather play with my friends!! But guess all the ang bao collected makes the 'tour' worthwhile heehee

After that Mummy was busy running around to make sure that everything was ok. I guessed everything was ok cos everyone was sitting around enjoying their food and chit chatting happily.

Since Mummy was busy, I decided that I am safer to hang around with people that I am familar with ... like Gong Gong, Jiu Jiu, Gu Gu and Ah Ma.

Finally it was time for the cake cutting. See my cake ... cute right!! Same design as my shirt heehee

Daddy had to go around to round up his friends (serve him right for inviting so many people hahaha) for the cake cutting while Mummy took photos with me!!

Ok time for a speech ~~ But Daddy and Mummy figured out that no one was interested to hear them talk so they decided to skip the speech and just sing the bday song!! Mummy had been rehearsing with me for the past 1 month so I knew what to do - SMILE and CLAP!!

Aunty Soo Chuen helped distribute the yummy mango cake (with a Didi inside her - I look forward to meet him in Nov!!)

Now its my turn to taste the cake ... hmmmmm ... not bad lar (hey its from Jacks Place, dun play play ok)

When guest started to leave, Mummy quickly took out the last surprise - YUMMY cookies from Bakin' Boys http://www.bakinboys.com.sg/ (Support local brand!!)

See the happy look on Yee Yee and 'Uncle' Gabriel face (Had to use them as the poster gal and guy cos this is the ONE and ONLY photo of them in my party hiak hiak - who ask them to hide one corner!!)

Apologies if it was too crowded, Daddy and Mummy didnt have time to talk to you, you didnt get to eat the strawberries at the chocolate fondue (I didnt get to eat too!!), your photos are not shown here, you werent photograph-ed, you didnt get a goodie bag cos you already have an NRIC, you didnt get to bring a balloon home etc etc etc I do hope that you have enjoyed the Party as much as I did! Mummy and Daddy woke up very early to prepare for the party today.

Mummy borrowed an electric pump from her office to blow up all the balloons. Its scary ok!!

I decided to stand away as far as possible!!

Nicole's Bday Party

Today is Nicole's 1st Bday Party. Mummy teased Aunty Esther that Nicole's bday party is like wedding cos Nicole got morning and evening session =)

The morning session was held in Gymboree @ Tanglin Mall. I met Megan, Chole, Patrick, Daryl, Jasmin and many other pal at the Party. It was a private party for the 9 of us. It was very fun!!

We played alot of games

Everyone had lotsa fun and then it was cake cutting. The cake was very very pretty and of cos very very yummy!!

We went into a room for the cake and food that Aunty Esther ordered.

After the party, we accompanied Megan to get her hair cut at Junior Leagues @ Plaza Sinagpura. Had to wait very long as the hair stylist went for their dinner and Megan cried too!! (See I am not the ONLY baby who cry when getting the hair cut lor!!)

After which, we went to Aunty Esther's place for the evening session of the party. It was a 3-in-1 party: Nicole's bday, Baby Dedication and House Blessing. When the ceremony was over, we started to eat. The food was very very yummy, esp the famous mee siam and Mummy's fav Kueh Pai Tee.

While the adults were eating, I had fun playing with Nicole's toys!!

Daddy and Mummy had fun too!!

Cut hair or head?

Mummy and Daddy brought me for a hair cut today. The uncle say that its $7 for children and $9 for adult. Mummy even tried to bargain for a baby price (so pai seh!!) but the Uncle say that its a 'management decision' and their 'policy' so cant lower the price hiak hiak

Anyway here is my hair cut ...

You think I like it or not? Mummy say that I must have scared many customer away with my crying and now she understand why baby must pay $7! Such alot of hard work!

Cant blame me for crying ok cos its so so so SCARY mar!!!

Aunty Veron's Wedding

Its yet another wedding again!! Today is Aunty Veron's turn and her wedding is at Beaufort Sentosa. Mummy was very ambitious and she even wanted to go for a walk in Sentosa before the start of the dinner. You think I believe her ...
