Daryl's Bday Party

Daryl's Bday Party was in a very special place, its held at the NSRCC Chalet which is located at Changi. Luckily Mummy knew where the chalet was or we would have to miss the cake cutting AGAIN!!

The chalet was very nice with a very big swimming pool. It was very crowded with lotsa people coming to celebrate Daryl's 1st bday!!

While the adults were focusing on their BBQ food, we kids kept ourselves entertained.

Finally it was cake cutting. Daryl had a HUGE bday cake which was full of his fav sesame street character. I oso like the Big Bird heehee

We left shortly after the cake cutting. The walk out to the car was very shiok with the cool breezy wind =)

Mummy's Bday!!

Its Mummy's bday today!! We laze around the house in the day then went off to Concourse in the evening to check out the shops there. Mummy wanted to see if there are any good buys for my birthday party.

We then decided to have dinner at the Coca Steamboat Restaurant there as both Daddy and Mummy were sick of ang mo food.

The food at the restaurant was good and fresh!! Mummy and Daddy recounted on their par tor days where they will take leave and go Coca for the buffet lunch.

Although they enjoyed the food alot, I was very bored as I could only eat fish and toufu. The gor gor there gave me a chocolate. Although I cant eat the chocolate, see what fun I can have with it.

After dinner, Mummy pestered Daddy for a birthday cake! So the cheapo Daddy quickly drove to J8 and get a cake from Crystal Jade (Why Crystal Jade? Cos they have 40% discount after 8pm lar!!).

We sang a birthday song for Mummy and we had cake. Its was very yummy!!

Hello Hello? Call who ar?

1st Month BB Shower @ JB

The journey into JB was very smooth and we reached there in 45mins.

I had fun crawling around the place and Ah Ma carried me around to entertain the relatives.

Its such a tiring job to be the ambassador of the family!!

We left at 9.30pm as there was a blackout in the whole housing estate!! Exciting and scary!! The journey home was not as smooth though =p and we only reached home at 12am *yawn*

Haowen's Bday Party

We went to Haowen's Bday Party today.

As I took a nap and Daddy lost his way (even in Yishun which he consider as his turf!!), we missed Haowen's Cake Cutting Ceremony.

His theme of the party was Pooh Bear. He had a Pooh Bear design bday cake (it was pretty even though I only saw the cut version), Pooh Bear loot bag for everyone (I love the clapper) and even a Pooh Bear toy for me to ride on heehee

Today we went to Centerpoint to support Megan at the Baby Bonanza 2006. Megan had 2 balloons and Ah Ma thought that it was very cute so she bought 1 for me. I like it very much!!

Dinner ~ Yummy Ramen

Mummy and I went to the Taka Baby Fair and Daddy met us for dinner after that. We went to some chinese ramen place at Centerpoint cos Mummy said that the restaurant had been featured on TV many times.

Since it was so good, Mummy gave me some to eat.

YC: Nice, I like!!

Mummy: No more already YC, Daddy has finished up everything!

YC: WHAT? NO MORE!!

Mummy: Really no more *shaking her hand*

YC: Please Mummy, please, just 1 more bite

Mummy: Really no more darling, next time ok?

Fun @ Gymboree

Today I met Nicole to play at Gymboree @ Tanglin while Aunty Christina & Chole and Aunty Cindy & Jasmin joined us for lunch after that.

Aunty Esther picked us up at Orchard MRT (thank goodness she picked us up cos it was RAINING!!). Then we set off to Gymboree.

Well its the first time that I go to Gymboree just to have fun, no lessons, no teacher YEAH!!

Happy Birthday SINGAPORE!!!

Today is Singapore's 40th Birthday!! I LUV SINGAPORE (well everyone says that on National Day)!!

Aunty Angel said that her office will have a very nice and clear view of the fireworks, so we tag along to go and watch fireworks in her office.

So Mummy dressed me up in RED, herself in RED & WHITE and Daddy in WHITE (She siao ar!! Who is going to see us in the office? ITS EMPTY!!)

We reached the office at 7.30pm and helped ourselves to the TV and drinks. The pantry is FANTASTIC man ... got lots of drinks (Coke, Ribena, Green Tea etc etc etc), fruits (apple, orange, cherries etc etc etc), cookies (not kong guan hor) etc etc etc

There was even a table soccer machine there.

Lets see if we can play?!? Damn it!! Its locked!!

Since there were no table soccer for me to play, Mummy decided to give me a 'Kiddy Ride'.

Its FUN!!!

We then ran in and out of the pantry to watch the fire works! Its nice but very small cos the stadium was a distance away from the office. Hopefully we can have a nicer view for the Fireworks Extravaganza!!

Ah Ma's Birthday

We are celebrating Ah Ma's bday today! Her actual bday is on 12 Aug but we are celebrating 1 week earlier!

Daddy brought us to this Teochew Restaurant at Amoy Street for lunch. The lunch was very yummy and they all love the food there!!

Then it was cake cutting, Mummy ordered a Baileys Tiramisu from http://www.tiramisutra.com and it sure looked YUMMY!!

As it was FULL of Baileys, Mummy only allowed me to take a mini bite of the sponge cake =(

Baby Bonanza 2006

Today was the prelim for Baby Bonanza and it was held at Compasspoint. Mummy signed me up for all the categories cos she already paid $5 and she might as well sign me up for EVERYTHING (think she is becoming more n more aunty ~ faint)!!

The Q was super super super LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!!! Mummy was so fed up with the organiser (guess who is it?!?) cos there were at least 1000 babies there and they only had TWO miserable lanes for the Super Crawler and THREE stations for the Baby Genius!!!

Anyone with common sense would know that those set up are DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH, just imagine 1 baby take 1 minute to finish the Super Crawler station, it will already take 8hrs to finish all 1000 babies.

And the Q system is very very very dumb!! They make us Q the first time is just to register and take our ID no then make us Q again to wait for our turn!! The first Q was not too bad cos it was still in the shopping ctr but the 2nd Q was a KILLER!! The Q went all the way OUT of Compasspoint and ended near the taxi stand. I think it was at least 1km long!

Mummy was saying that they should adopt the clinic method. Take Q number and wait for the number to be called, those who dun appear after 3 call will be pushed 10 places back instead of making everyone Q. At least then people can do some shopping or eat etc. They should employ Mummy to be the organiser man!!

Thank goodness Aunty Angel was also crazy enough to take part in the competition so she got Aunty Lynn to Q for us. Then Mummy brought me and the 'Cheer-leading team' round to shop and eat. (Cheer-leading Team consisted of Ah Ma, Ma Ma, Gong Gong, Gu Gu, Shu Shu and Yee Yee). While shopping at Metro, Mummy accidentally brushed my feet against the shopping shelf and I had a very bad cut. Mummy felt so guilty, she kept kissing me and apologise. Gong Gong said that I should demand for some handicap points since I am injured!!

We waited from 1pm to 5pm, I finished my milk and 2 naps but still we didnt see Aunty Lynn yet (which means she is still very far behind in the Q)!! Aunty Angel and Mummy watched the competition and they were grumbling cos some of the babies REALLY REALLY couldnt crawl yet, they were just lying down on their tummy and creeping very slowly. But their Mummies were there using toys, keys, wallet etc to encourage them to crawl. I pity those babies actually ...
FINALLY, it was our turn!! I went for the Super Crawler Station first. I was blur at first, but when I saw Mummy waving my fav Baby Bites to me, I knew exactly what to do!!

Megan's experience was very funny though cos she could already walk so she refuse to crawl!!

Next was the Baby Genius test. It was to drop in 2 toy block into the pail, that was chicken feed to me!! Ma Ma was very proud cos she said that she was the one who taught me that trick *roll eye*

We went home at about 6.30pm and had dinner with Gu Gu. She treated us to the Ajisen Ramen heehee

What a tiring day with an injured feet!!

Post Note: I didnt get into the next stage of the contest and my cheer leading team felt that there MUST be something wrong with the results!! Such a supportive cheer leading team I have. Anyway Mummy said that its just for an experience that she signed me up for such contest but remind her not to do it again cos the Q was a killer!!

Oh lastly, Megan did us proud by getting into the Top 10 for both BabY Genius and Chubby BabY!! Well done gal!!

Bully @ Work ... HELP!!!

Bye Bye BKK!!

Mummy and Daddy said that we are going home today! Mummy was busying packing the luggages while Daddy entertained me with my fav toy ~ the remote control! Since its the hotel's one, he let me have lotsa fun with it heehee (before Mummy came to its recuse!)

Ma Ma and Yee Yee did a count for their shopping items and seems like the person with the most number of purchase is none other than .... Jiu Jiu (who is not even here in BKK)!!

Mummy wanted to go for a Thai massage with Gong Gong and Yee Yee but I was very fussy so she decided to just accompany me instead heehee(Daddy felt bad as he already went for his massage yesterday) We continued to shop around and took a break at the Dunking Dougnut.

Finally Gong Gong and Yee Yee were done with their massage and we set off to the airport. As there were 6 of us, we had to split up and take seperate cab. The cab driver kept telling Mummy that its the peak hour and she should not go by the meter rate. He will give us a discount rate at 400 THB, but strangely Mummy told him to just keep to the meter despite the fact that there seem to be jam all around.

When we reach the airport, the meter showed: 270 THB!! Mummy gave him 300 THB and gave Daddy a grin =p

We had dinner at the airport and I fell asleep while waiting for them to finish their dinner. Before I know it, it was time to board the plane. Mummy wanted to change the diaper for me and I started to cry!! Those jie jie heard my powerful voice and they waited for Mummy to finish changing my diaper and allowed the WHOLE family to board the plane first. So we managed to sit in the front row heehee Mummy commented that for once, I cried at the 'correct time'

While the plane was taking off, I had to be tied to Mummy. Even though I love Mummy lots, I hate to be tied! Finally when the 'buckle your seat belt' sign was off, she allowed me to sit on my own ~ so HAPPY

But after a while, I got very restless and Daddy tried to help! You think he was successful?

Then it was back to Mummy again!! Think she is better lar

Mummy gave me the in-flight magazine for my reading pleasure not too bad but the words are too small!! Gotta bring it closer before I can read it heehee

Finally, we are reaching Singapore. Quick, lets pack and go!!
